Full-Time Infant Teacher (6 Weeks–12 Months) | Northchase

Palmetto Preschool is seeking a nurturing, dependable, Full-Time Infant Teacher to join our Northchase team (4304 Henson Drive, Wilmington, 28405).

Infant classrooms require emotional consistency, attentiveness, and strong teamwork. We are looking for someone who understands that safe, responsive care in the first year of life matters deeply.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive care for infants (6 weeks–12 months)

Follow feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules

Maintain active supervision at all times

Create a calm, clean, and organized classroom

Communicate professionally with families

Support early developmental milestones

Qualifications:

6+ months of licensed childcare experience preferred

Experience with infants strongly preferred

Knowledge of safe sleep and sanitation standards

Strong reliability and professionalism

Ability to remain engaged and off personal devices while supervising

Must be available to work until 5:30 pm every day
