At PowDevs we are looking for a FullStack WordPress Engineer. Our project is essential to the business operations. It serves as the initial point of contact for customers who are interested in learning more about services or scheduling an estimate with their local franchised business. The leads generated the wbsite result in the majority of our overall business revenue. Each franchised business has a dedicated webpage that is linked to the homepage.

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer that can implement a custom WordPress website front-end using the Wordpress templating system (theme) based on FIGMA designs. This Web developer should be able to provide any suggestions related to any functional and/or HTML/XML related issues prior to and during the development phase working with the prohect's Brand, Marketing, and IT(Development) teams.

Responsabilities & Deliverables:
Front End HTML build for all new website pages for the.com and .ca experience to implement a custom WordPress website using the following

• WordPress templating system (theme)
• Based on approved assets complete the front-end build of all pages, overlays and dropdown menus that are part of the confirmed new pages to add to the existing site architecture
• Ability to build a custom plugin

Expected Deliverable: Front End HTML Responsive Build via Agile & Scrum Methodology

• Front-end build of all new website pages, overlays, and dropdown menus

Expected Deliverables: HTML updates from UAT/QA Review

• HTML code updates based on specific UAT feedback provided

Expected Deliverables: Post Deployment HTML Updates/Refinements

• HTML code build updates as needed based on potential project's changes in business requirements

Technical Qualifications & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience with WordPress (including multi-site) and full-cycle website development

• Proven ability to implement responsive, pixel-perfect designs from Figma or Sketch using a mobile-first mindset

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript ES6, PHP, jQuery, JSON, ACF/MetaBox

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code for network-wide usage and training

• Experience with SEO integration, Google Analytics, and A/B testing principles

• Solid understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility best practices

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Working knowledge of project management and development tools (JIRA, Trello, Smartsheet, VS Code)

• Strong time management and organizational skills

Nice to have for this role:
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology preferred

• Working knowledge of Python preferred but not required

• Experience with complex API connectors and development

• Solid understanding of WordPress database structure and MySQL

• React.js front-end experience

• Knowledge of Odoo is beneficial but not essential

• Familiarity with older version of WordPress
