Then all the more reason to apply to this Full Stack Web Developer Internship opportunity within the Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) team in Fortinet’s EMEA Center of Excellence in Sophia-Antipolis!

As a Full Stack Web Developer-intern, you will join our technical team and take part in maintaining and upgrading a globally used website for displaying performance test results. The position also includes contributing to the development of a new, modern platform designed to replace the existing legacy systems, as well as supporting the automation team in building tools to streamline performance testing.

Mission & Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the current worldwide web platform used for performance test display and monitoring.
Contribute to the design and development of a new generation platform, focusing on scalability, performance and user experience.
Ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency across development, testing and production environments.
Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration across all modules.
Document code, process and architecture to maintain technical visibility.

Skills Requirements

Languages & Frameworks:

PHP- for maintaining and extending the existing web application.
Javascript-DOM manipulation, dynamic interactions, and frontend integration
React- modern UI component development, state management, API integration.
Python – for scripting, backend development, and automation
Django – primary backend framework for the new platform

Database and Tools:

My SQL-database design performance tuning and query optimization
phpMyAdmin – database administration and maintenance

Environment and systems:

Linux-daily usage server management, deployment
Shell / bash scripting -automation and system maintenance

Education:

Student in Computer Science or a similar field.
Advanced fluency / proficiency in English
