A Full Stack Software Engineer plays a key role in software development, working within a cohesive, cross-disciplinary Agile team focused on the product backlog. You will work alongside intermediate and senior developers, as well as other team members and consultants.

This role requires a strong commitment to technical excellence—not only in writing code, but also in collaboration, testing, and documentation. Good communication skills are essential, as well as a “can‑do” attitude and willingness to work across various disciplines if required.

You will be part of a team who are growing the capabilities and services in Visa Spend Clarity to deliver scalable and robust solutions that will take Visa Spend Clarity to more customers and users around the globe. With an engineering group of nearly 300 people, Visa Spend Clarity is a key focus area with large growth ambitions, driven by customer needs and a desire to innovate using modern cloud technologies.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop .NET, SQL, and front-end code leveraging Gen AI for novel solutions.
• Participate in technical design with developers, architects, and other domain experts.
• Peer review code and follow coding standards.
• Use Test Driven Development (TDD) and write unit/integration tests.
• Document your work and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to agile processes and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate to create best-in-class software solutions.
• Contribute to product quality and new business flows in agile teams.
• Develop robust, scalable products for a range of customers.
• Pursue ongoing learning opportunities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2+ years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Experience in software engineering with coding languages such as C# and ASP.NET Core. Front end experience with Angular and/or React is a plus
• Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON
• Experience with using GENAI for development of business features and innovations
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to solve complex software development/design issues
• Ability to write clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines
• Experience with tools development, automation (CI/CD, Auto Deployment, System Availability, etc.), logging and monitoring
• Experience with front-end technologies like .NET Framework,Angular/React, Java Script, HTML/CSS/XML
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles
