Profitable B2B SaaS company with our teams are based in North America, but this role is remote from Canada. We're only open to Senior+ Devs who don't require relocation and are eligible to work in Canada :)

About You

We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead Rails/Typescript Engineer who wants to play a core role in building our core applications platform.

Note: This full-stack role will be 40% FE (Typescript) and 60% BE (Ruby on Rails)

Example Responsibilities:

- End-to-end Feature development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end/back-end services.

- Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.

- Building Front End Components: Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.

- Performance Optimization: Identify, assess, and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. ie looking for ways to make the product better!

Qualifications:

- 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript)

- Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development

- Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices

- Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)

- Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline

- Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
