Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer (6301)

As Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, you’ll work as a Full Stack Developer, writing high-quality hardened code to update, enhance, and add features to a public-facing suite of federal government web applications. You will work as part of an agile scrum team, collaborating to deliver value to a government customer across two-week sprints.

What you’ll do:

• You will work as part of an agile scrum team, participating in all agile ceremonies, and completing user stories during two-week sprints which will enhance React and Ruby on Rails based web applications.

• You will collaborate with your scrum team to refine requirements, propose solutions to complex problems, and continuously improve the team's approach in order to increase efficiency and quality of delivery.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

• 3+ years' experience working as a software developer in a web-based application framework

• Excellent writing and communications skills

• Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend, as well as database management systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL

• Experience working as part of a collaborative agile scrum team

• Experience building web applications on cloud-based infrastructure

• Experience with Git based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket

SALARY RANGE: $92,000 - $124,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

• The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience

• The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs

• Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation

• This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:

• Performance-based bonuses

• Company-paid training and/or certifications

• Referral bonuses
