A Fullstack PHP Engineer has a vital role within our engineering team, focused on building solutions for our clients’ digital products. This position plays a key part in ensuring the scalability and efficiency of applications and addressing technical challenges. With your expertise, you will help drive innovation and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards, providing value and reliability to our partners.

What we expect: 

5 years+ experience building high performance, secure, scalable solutions in PHP

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony or Yii2

You are experienced building modern javascript/typescript based front ends using the likes of React, Angular or VueJS

You have experience with RDBMS technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL and indexing tools (Elastic, OpenSearch, Solr)

You have experience working in a CI/CD environment on AWS or Azure, and have knowledge of IAC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM

You are familiar with unit, integration, and E2E testing and related frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Puppeteer, Mocha)

You are skilled at designing and implementing future-proof, scalable systems, consistently keeping scalability and performance in mind throughout the development process

You have experience with containerization

You have experience with at least one messaging system (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS/SQS)

Nice to have: 

Participating in the pre-sales and discovery phases to gain a deeper understanding of the project scope and objectives, enabling you to contribute more valuable ideas from the beginning

Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar, if your projects or clients require serverless components

Experience with other back end technologies such as .NET and Node.js

Skills and requirements: 

At least 5 years of experience in a Fullstack Engineering role

A willingness to understand the client’s business model and requirements

Familiarity with working in an international environment, using verbal English daily

A passion for producing exceptional work and maintaining high-quality standards

Comfort with being part of an agile team and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

The ability to communicate obstacles, needs, and expectations politely and constructively

Proactiveness and a continuous improvement mindset

Familiarity with a remote-first culture (though you’re welcome to visit the office if you’d like!
