Job Description
Softeta is a software engineering partner for finance, energy, industrial, and other high-stakes sectors. We specialise in building and modernising backend-heavy, integration-critical systems where speed, accuracy, and reliability are non-negotiable. With 90+ AI and custom software experts across engineering hubs in Lithuania and Poland, we embed ourselves directly into client operations — delivering custom software, automation, and AI where they drive the most value.
About the project
We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to develop advanced IS solutions for the automotive sector, focusing on automating service management, logistics, and e-shop workflows.
Working style
• High-ownership: takes a problem end-to-end (DB → API → UI → ship), no hand-holding;
• Comfortable in a team where most code is written by AI agents — the human's job is direction, review, and judgment.
Our stack is Next.js 15 / React 19 on the frontend and NestJS + Prisma on the backend, but we are not strict about prior hands-on experience with either. Given that most code is produced by AI agents, what matters more is the ability to read, review, and steer code in any modern TS framework.
Requirements:
Stack familiarity
• TypeScript (strict), monorepo tooling (pnpm + Turborepo);
• PostgreSQL + an ORM (Prisma ideal, but any is fine);
• Git + Conventional Commits, Docker for local services;
• Solid backend + frontend fundamentals — specific framework experience matters less than the ability to ramp up quickly.
Nice to have
• Next.js / NestJS / Strapi v5 prior experience;
• Tailwind + shadcn/ui, next-intl, auth flows.
Agentic coding (must-have — this is the real bar)
• Daily driver in an agentic coding tool (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or similar) — not just autocomplete;
• Plan-first mindset: writes precise specs, breaks work into verifiable steps;
• Strong code-review instincts on AI-generated diffs — never ships unverified code;
• Understands context engineering: AGENTS.md / CLAUDE.md, repo memories, scoped subagents, MCP servers;
• Uses agents for refactors, test generation, and codebase exploration — knows when to stop and re-plan.
Benefits:
• Diverse and technically challenging projects.
• Training budget for professional and personal growth.
• Flexible working hours and a hybrid or remote workplace model.
• Flexible schedule and an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Technical equipment that you can choose.
Salary:
• For employees: 3500 EUR to 5500 EUR monthly before taxes.
• For contractors: 30 EUR to 35 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
