Role Overview

This role is designed for a Full Stack Engineer who wants end-to-end ownership over large engineering initiatives and enjoys working outside a traditional 9–5 structure. You will build, scale, and maintain systems across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers, translating ideas into reliable production-ready solutions. The role is execution-heavy and highly autonomous, requiring strong first-principles thinking and technical depth. You will collaborate cross-functionally while owning decisions in fast-moving, ambiguous problem spaces. This position is ideal for engineers motivated by responsibility, impact, and long-term system ownership.

Your Impact

You will directly shape core systems that power the company’s products and internal operations. Your work will improve system reliability, scalability, and development velocity across the organization. You’ll influence architectural decisions that enable faster iteration and long-term maintainability. By owning features end-to-end, you will reduce bottlenecks, improve incident response, and raise the overall engineering quality bar.

Core Responsibilities

End-to-End Engineering Ownership – 40%

• Lead large engineering initiatives from concept through design, implementation, and deployment
• Own features across frontend, backend, and system integrations
• Make architectural and system design decisions under evolving requirements
• Maintain high quality standards while shipping quickly to production

Full Stack Development & Architecture – 30%

• Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Develop frontend applications using Next.js and related technologies
• Translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable system architectures
• Navigate and improve large codebases across multiple technologies

Systems, Integrations & Infrastructure – 20%

• Integrate securely with third-party services and external platforms
• Work with databases, APIs, containerized services, and core infrastructure
• Use Docker to support consistent development and deployment workflows
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and execution speed

Communication & Execution – 10%

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams
• Provide clear written updates and proactive async communication
• Respond to production incidents with urgency, ownership, and accountability
• Maintain execution discipline in high-pressure environments

Requirements:
Must-Haves (Required)

• Strong full stack engineering experience with ownership of large, production systems
• Solid backend experience using TypeScript
• Frontend experience building applications with Next.js
• Hands-on experience using Docker in development or production environments
• Deep understanding of system design and backend fundamentals
• Ability to operate across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Excellent written English communication and async collaboration skills
• High ownership mindset with comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

• Experience building services or tools using Python
• Exposure to container orchestration, message queues, or distributed systems
• Open-source contributions or personal projects demonstrating technical depth
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
• Willingness to relocate for in-person collaboration
