IEX is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to partner with our businesses and own our website properties and applications from a technical perspective. You are a self-starter who likes working across teams to solve business challenges. You have experience maintaining complex websites and web apps from a front-end perspective and would be excited and driven to build your skillset on the backend and in a DevOps-type role.

In this role, you would work primarily with the development and marketing teams to own our existing websites (e.g., iex.io, iexexchange.io) and web apps, as well as to build new websites for businesses and products as needed. This role is highly visible across the company and a great fit for someone who is motivated to own initiatives from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and maintain IEX’s web properties and applications from a technical perspective

• Design and develop new web pages and sites based on business requirements

• Debug and troubleshoot existing websites and applications

• Communicate timelines and plans to marketing and business owners

• Over time, take over full lifecycle ownership of all systems involved as your backend skills grow (with training from internal partners)

You Are:

• 5+ years of front-end software development experience

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML, CSS

• Experience building data pipelines with Python

• Experience with MySQL, Redis, GitHub

• Experience building APIs and working with REST/JSON

• Experience with Azure Cloud a plus

• Experience or interest in artificial intelligence (AI)

• Interest in learning to work with trading systems

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $150,000 and $200,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
