Full Stack Engineer (L2)

Gnosis Business serves as the financial operating system for businesses with onchain treasuries. With Gnosis Business, teams now have a simple interface to manage their treasury, payments and accounting.

About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer you’ll help design, build and scale reliable systems that act as a technical orchestration layer for payment flows. You’ll work closely with the Lead Engineer, internal teams, and external technical partners to implement backend services that support production systems used by clients and their end-users. 

This role is hands on and production facing, with direct impact on system reliability and partner integrations. Your day-to-day will include:

• Build and maintain features across our API layer, frontend, and workflow engine

• Develop and extend provider plugins that integrate third-party services into our orchestration layer

• Design and implement durable workflows for multi-step, long-running business processes using Temporal

• Work with our Prisma/PostgreSQL data layer, writing migrations and optimizing queries for multi-tenant data isolation

• Build dashboard UI for internal operations and provider configuration

• Contribute to our plugin SDK, enabling new provider integrations without core code changes

• Write tests at all levels: unit (Jest), integration (Testcontainers), and E2E (Playwright)

• Participate in incident response and debugging across webhook pipelines, transaction processing, and workflow orchestration

Who you are:
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend

• Experience with Node.js, Fastify or similar backend frameworks

• Experience with React and Next.js (App Router preferred)

• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments

• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, E2E)

• Comfort working in a monorepo with multiple interdependent packages

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow orchestration engines such as Temporal

• Familiarity with fintech concepts: payment rails, KYC/AML compliance, money movement

•  Experience with cryptocurrency/blockchain technologies

•  Exposure to Redis

•  Experience with webhook architectures (HMAC signing, retry logic, idempotency)

•  Experience with AWS deployments (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache)

•  Experience building plugin/extension systems or multi-tenant SaaS platforms

• Knowledge of real-time data streaming patterns
