Full Stack Engineer - Java/React (m/f/d)

 

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack (React, TypeScript, and Java) Developer to join our technology team who has the hunger to solve our complex technical and business challenges. Within our Revenue Management team, we build systems that empower the business to make optimal revenue decisions. Specifically, we focus on Strategic Fleet Planning, supporting business users in planning the upcoming year fleet size and much more. You will work closely with Data Science and Product to create tools that drive strategic steering decisions, as well as develop other vital services supporting revenue management. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You understand the business and the processes to build solutions and not only write code
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing and maintain documentation
• You will build software on a React, TypeScript, and Java tech stack
• Responsible for designing and developing end-to-end distributed systems and front-end applications on the cloud
• Build UI components, libraries, and tools for our microservices ecosystem
• You will work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have development experience in Java, React, and TypeScript, and are familiar with Spring or other comparable application development frameworks
• You have several years of experience working in sophisticated technology environments such as building cloud-native applications, solving scalability challenges, and designing event-driven solutions and modern user interfaces
• Experience working with cloud providers (AWS or similar). You have already designed distributed systems or you have worked on microservices architectures.
• You have good understanding of event-driven platforms, pub-sub and messaging using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ
• Product-oriented mindset and attention to detail
• With your critical thinking skills, you fearlessly make suggestions to refine processes and improve the ways of working for better productivity. You recognize the value of feedback, both when offering and receiving it, viewing it as a gift that fuels growth and development
