WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Full‑Stack Software Engineer with strong frontend expertise to join our Data Driven Solutions team. We use the latest web technologies to develop secure, scalable, and high‑quality services for Woven City.

While your core strength will be frontend development, you will also contribute across the stack—building backend services, integrating systems, and shaping technical architecture. You will deepen your knowledge in testing, observability, security, privacy, and performance optimization.

This role follows a hybrid work style.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain full‑stack web applications and backend APIs for collecting and visualizing Woven City data, supporting scalable production services
• Build, support, and evolve backend services and a team design system to ensure consistent, high‑quality UI/UX across platforms
• Generate, analyze, and leverage data to support decision‑making for product development and feature prioritization
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, working with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver PoCs and production applications
• Apply best practices in security, privacy, performance testing, performance optimization, and system observability to ensure reliability
• Set, track, and achieve quarterly OKRs, proactively reporting progress, performance, and achievements
• Travel to the Susono office may be required based on operational needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in full‑stack or frontend‑focused development with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js
• Experience designing and building backend services (REST, GraphQL) and working with DevOps workflows including CI/CD, documentation, observability, and automated testing
• Understanding of modern web security and privacy best practices
• Ability to analyze ambiguous requirements, define system/software specifications, and collaborate effectively across teams with strong business‑level English communication skills
• Experience using design tools such as Figma or Sketch

NICE TO HAVES:
• Database experience with Postgres or Redis
• Hands‑on experience with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, along with performance testing, monitoring, and optimization
• Experience building large-scale backend services
• Experience working with AI/ML‑related data workflows
• Professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Dockers and Kubernetes
• Conversational-level Japanese
