📌 Full-Stack Developer – Java + Apache Camel - Contractor - Remote

The ideal candidate should possess a strong hands-on background in Java development, database management, and additional skills in web services and cloud solutions. 🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above.

• Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and querying using SQL.

• Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Make sure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices).

• Collaborate effectively with cross-geographical teams that include developers, testers, and product managers.

• Positively contribute to the improvement of the team’s quality, efficiency, and capability.

• Follow and contribute to your teams’ processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.

✅ What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant, Java/Spring applications. (Version 11 and above.)

• Experience working with spring boot is required

• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration including basic routing, error handling, split-aggregate, and dynamic routing.

• Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, Rest API).

• Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Relevant certifications.
