CO-Energy has an opening for a Fuel Transport Truck Driver based out of our Burley Adams Petroleum branch.
For 39 years, CO-Energy has been a leading distributor of fuels and lubricant products for a wide range of commercial, government and agricultural customers in Eastern Washington, Idaho and Northeastern Oregon.
The Transport Driver will typically load fuel at terminals located in Burley, Boise, Pocatello and Salt Lake City then deliver to customers and company-owned facilities in the Magic Valley, Idaho Falls and Treasure Valley region.
This is a Full-Time day shift position with weekends off typically. Some Saturday shifts may be required depending on customer needs.
COMPENSATION:
$30.00 - $33.00 Per hour
Annual December Driver Bonus - Pays a lump sum amount for every hour worked:
$ 1.00/hour in 1st year of employment;
$ 2.00/hour 2nd, 3rd year;
$ 3.00/hour 4th, 5th year;
$ 4.00/hour 6th - 9th years;
$ 5.00/hour 10th - 15th years;
$ 6.00/hour 15+ years
Drivers work an average of 2,000 to 2,500 hours per year

Tasks, Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Drive 18-Wheel tanker trucks to load, transport and deliver fuel products to customers on a regular route
Read, verify and check paperwork for accuracy and errors
Interact with customers in-person and on the phone in a manner that demonstrates excellent customer service
Work safely by following all company and government rules, regulations and best practices.
Report all petroleum product spills immediately, act quickly to reduce the spill.
Required Qualifications:
21 years of age
Valid Idaho Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with TX endorsements and Interstate medical self-certification.
Possess a valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain one within 14 days of hire.
Excellent driving record - no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) years.
One (1) year of CDL truck driving experience.
Clean safety and substance-testing record as defined by the US Dept of Transportation FMCSA regulations.
Ability to use ELD (Electronic Logging Device) to record hours-of-service data and vehicle inspections.
Ability to do basic math; read and write in English to complete required paperwork & communicate with office staff and customers via text and email.
Pass a post-offer, pre-employment DOT/FMCSA drug screen & criminal background check.

Experience delivering fuel and/or oil products
Physical Work Conditions:
Work outdoors in all weather conditions (regularly/daily)
Lift, carry connect and disconnect hoses that weigh up to 50 lbs (regularly/daily)
Climb up and down stairs/short ladders for entering and exiting vehicle and accessing areas of the truck tanks (regularly/daily)
Bend, twist, stand, walk, stoop, crouch and reach (regularly)
Sitting for long periods of time while driving (regularly)
