Job Description
We are currently looking for a Fuel/ Lubricant Truck Driver- Class 1. This position is based out of our facilities in Dawson Creek and is full-time on call, with deliveries to all areas of Dawson Creek and surrounding industrial sites. The successful candidate must have a class 1 driver’s license with a minimum 3 years’ experience, and the ability to operate a variety of equipment configurations including single axle tankers, truck and pup trailers, and B-trains.
This position will consist of a varying schedule, with the possibility of working days, evenings, and weekends.
The Fuel and Lubricant Truck Driver’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
large volume commercial deliveries, to remote industrial sites in off-road conditions
Keeping accurate records and proof of deliveries
Loading fuel into tanker trucks and trailers at bulk fuel loading terminals
Helping to maintain our great relationships with our customers
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience - Class 1 license with air brakes
Ability to adapt to changing priorities or challenges
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Knowledge of North and South Peace Regions, petroleum handling, and liquid load experience are assets.
Must be able to lift/pull 50 pounds multiple times to do multiple deliveries per day.
You must have a clean drivers abstract (a copy of "N" print abstract will be required for all candidates invited for an interview).
Must able to work alone safely and efficiently.
