FSQA Onboarding Specialist

Job Description

As the FSQA Onboarding Specialist, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our Food Safety and Quality Assurance standards are world-class right from the start. You'll focus on the essential task of getting new suppliers and products (SKUs) onboarded smoothly and efficiently, in line with major projects, while also diving into our existing specification reviews.

This 6-month Fixed Term Contract is based in Chippendale, Sydney and reports to the FSQA Senior Category Manager.

You will…

• Guide our Category Owners and NPD Technologists through the supplier and product onboarding process for our AU and NZ markets.

• Ensure our partners are expertly set up and trained on our supplier management platform, Ideagen.

• Review all supplier and product documentation to maintain our high-quality standards, ensuring a 'right first time' approach is embedded in every partnership.

• Drive the review of existing specifications in Ideagen, with the big-picture goal of approving all category specifications by the end of 2026.

• Use your industry knowledge to develop and implement best-practice quality specifications with our suppliers.

• Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with key internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Help to drive essential FSQA projects.

You have…

• Solid experience in supplier management and/or specification management in the food industry.

• A deep, thorough knowledge of FSANZ legislation (that's Australian and New Zealand Food Standards).

• A great understanding of food processing systems and equipment.

• Comfortable working with G-suite and MS-suite (Intermediate level) and competent with data and analytics.

• Bonus: Experience in grocery product knowledge, food manufacturing, a Degree in a related discipline, and/or a HACCP qualification.

Duration: 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
