About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead with a strong background in the banking sector to lead strategic technology initiatives within highly regulated and mission-critical environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams, defining robust architectures, and ensuring the successful delivery of key digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams (Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps).

Define and validate technology architectures aligned with banking standards.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (PSD2, GDPR, local regulations).

Collaborate closely with Business, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders.

Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD implementation, and automation initiatives.

Oversee integrations with core banking systems and legacy platforms.

Ensure solution quality, scalability, performance, and security.

REQUIEREMENTS

Must-have:

8+ years of experience in technology, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.

Proven experience in traditional banking or digital banking environments.

Strong background in system architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Knowledge of security best practices in financial environments.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have:

Experience in Open Banking initiatives.

Knowledge of core banking systems (Temenos, Mambu, etc.).

Certifications in cloud or architecture frameworks.
