Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS)
Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is seeking two experienced Frontline Workforce Supervisors to support our Supported Independent Living (SIL) workforce across residential and community-based settings. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on timesheet oversight, staff performance coaching, workforce compliance, and recruitment support, working closely with our HR and Workforce Compliance Team.

Working Hours & Availability
Standard hours:
Monday to Thursday — 9:30am to 3:30pm
You will also need to be available for:
Additional hours and/or an extra day as required, within 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Participation in the On-Call / Out-of-Hours rotation (Monday to Sunday) as part of shared leadership coverage for SIL services
About the Role
As a Frontline Workforce Supervisor – SIL, you will be responsible for:
Timesheets & Attendance
Reviewing SIL staff timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with rosters
Following up with support workers and house supervisors regarding missed submissions, discrepancies, or exceptions
Supporting consistent and compliant timesheet processes across SIL homes
Performance Management & Coaching
Providing regular coaching, feedback, and on-the-job support to frontline SIL workers
Supporting leaders and house supervisors with performance conversations and development plans
Managing performance concerns with clear documentation and timely follow-up
Disciplinary Processes
Conducting disciplinary meetings and formal coaching in line with SHCS policies, procedural fairness, and relevant legislation
Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records of actions and outcomes
Escalating higher-risk or complex matters through HR as required
Workforce Compliance & Training
Ensuring SIL workers maintain compliance with mandatory checks, qualifications, and training requirements
Coordinating training needs and following up outstanding documentation
Working closely with the Workforce Compliance Team to maintain audit readiness across SIL services
Recruitment & Induction Support
Supporting SIL recruitment needs, including interviewing and onboarding coordination
Delivering inductions and ensuring new starters are job-ready, compliant, and familiar with SIL environments
Partnering with HR and Workforce Compliance to ensure a smooth and supportive onboarding experience
