Frontend Software Engineer Working Student

QuantCo delivers impactful business solutions powered by machine learning & AI. Frontend software engineers at QuantCo are responsible for building the tools that enable real people to turn machine learning insights into decisions and actions. They will work with our data scientists, product managers, designers, other engineers, and users to create products that provide transparency and actionability to our machine learning solutions.

What we are looking for: :
• Experience as a frontend software engineer (internships or personal projects).
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React. Python is a plus, but not required.
• Business proficiency in English. Conversational proficiency in German is beneficial, but not required.
• Students enrolled in a university in Berlin, Karlsruhe, or Munich and who live in one of these cities.

Ideally, you would have previous exposure to::
• Modern frontend tooling (Vite, Tailwind, shared component libraries) and bundling processes for both applications and libraries.
• Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Backends for frontends.
• Writing clean, effective, and production-ready code.

What we offer::

• 28 EUR per hour worked, one-year contract with the option to extend it.
• Around 8-12 hours per week would be ideal, but you can flexibly decide on your hours.
• Great office locations.
