Role/Responsibilities

Our Client is currently seeking a confident and capable Front-End React.Js Web Developer who possesses advanced skills and experience particularly in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and React, to Join a Scrum Agile development team in the process of creating the next generation of SaaS products.

Our Client is one of the most lucrative full-service marketing businesses in the world, with over 600 specialists in technology, marketing, data print and content creation. They have offices based in the United Kingdom (London, Birmingham & Dartford), the United States (New York & Chicago) and Client teams all over Europe. The Client manages the marketing operations of around 60 blue-chip Clients including; M&S, PUMA and KFC etc.

The ideal candidate must be able to work within a cross-functional team, with the unified aim of analysing, designing and shipping new features. The Candidate must also be able to use a variety of front-end technologies which include React, ES6, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 in order to produce conceivable front-end applications written with a test first approach.

In addition, the ideal Candidate will be able to harmonise and co-operate with the UI/UX designer and back end designers and ensure a high performance on desktop and mobile sites, as well as commit to developing front-end coding standards.

Skills/Experience Required

-Experience, knowledge, skill and interest in JavaScript frameworks (Preferably React), HTML5, CSS3, cross-browser compatible code, JavaScript, ES5, ES6, TypeScript, CSS precompilers (E.g. Sass and LESS), NodeJS, Grunt, NPM, RESTful API (Application work) and TDD.

-Experience in building mobile and responsive design applications.

-The ability to create self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components.

-Expertise in W3C AA guidelines and how to build compliant UI’s.

-Expertise in common application vulnerabilities accompanied by the capability to combat them.

-Experience using cross functional and independent Scrum Agile teams.

-The ability to resolve errors related to applications/environments the applications are sourced from.

-Technical and business sustainability.

-Excellent communication skills in order to mentor your team regarding front end developmental attributes.
