Who are we looking for?

As a frontend engineer at Newcode.ai, you'll be at the forefront of crafting the user experiences at the heart of our AI solutions. You'll work hands-on with a modern stack — Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, React Query, Zustand — bringing complex AI-powered products to life through intuitive, high-quality interfaces.

This isn't a role where you follow a spec and push pixels. You'll have real ownership over the frontend — from architecture decisions to the final interaction details. If you're someone who gets excited about trying new tools, cares deeply about craft, and wants to shape a product from the ground up, this is your place.

You'll collaborate closely with product and backend teams, and have real influence over both the design and architecture of our frontend stack. We value initiative and encourage every team member to shape the product and leave a lasting mark.

Requirements:
What You'll Do

• Build and maintain intuitive user interfaces: Design, develop, and optimize frontend features that delight our users and bring our AI products to life.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences.
• Own your craft: Take full responsibility for code quality, maintainability, and the overall architecture of the frontend codebase.
• Innovate and iterate: Move fast, experiment boldly, and play an active role in shaping the evolution of our platform's frontend.

Who You Are

• You ship and you care: You take pride in your work — clean code, smooth interactions, polished UI. Good enough isn't enough for you.
• You stay curious: You follow what's happening in the frontend ecosystem, try new tools, and bring ideas to the team. You don't wait to be told what to learn.
• You take ownership: You don't just build what's asked — you think about the why, push back when something doesn't make sense, and drive things forward.
• You thrive in ambiguity: Startups move fast. You're comfortable figuring things out, making decisions, and iterating quickly.
• You work with modern tools: You have hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Bonus if you've worked with Tailwind CSS, Zustand, React Query, or component libraries like shadcn/ui.
• You leverage AI as a tool, not a crutch: You know how to use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot to move faster and ship better code — but you understand what you're building and why. AI slop doesn't pass your own code review.
• You're frontend-first, but not frontend-only: You're most at home building great user experiences, but you're comfortable navigating backend code when needed. You don't need a backend engineer to unblock you for every API change.
