Job Description

Wolt is looking for a Frontend Engineer to expand our Mx Engagement team. The team is part of the Merchant Product group and is responsible for enabling the delivery of the merchant tool set that helps our partners drive and grow their businesses. Thousands of Merchants across the globe are using this tooling on a daily basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Understand the intention of what we are building and why

• With the help of more seasoned engineers, work on assigned tasks ensuring timely delivery

• Bring new ideas to the table to discuss with the team, help the team to grow in their profession.

• Your role will require an ability to handle ambiguity and rapid changes while maintaining a focus on quality and high performance.

• If you love collaborating with multiple engineering stakeholders, focusing on the long-term quality of the user experience, and making life easier for our Merchants, this is the team for you!

Must haves

• Proven expertise in building production grade consumer-facing frontend applications, using TypeScript and React as well as writing automated tests.

• Strong collaborative communication skills that enable giving and receiving constructive feedback, while proactively communicating progress and potential roadblocks within a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience using performance monitoring and alerting tools to track key metrics and consistently driving improvements based on data

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.

Nice to haves

• Track record with User Experience and best practices.

• Go beyond just writing code but also be willing to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders

• Interest in the whole life cycle of software, not shying away from exploring the internals of the backend

• Experience with Backend for Frontend architecture

• Exposure to AI technologies, be it in the software development itself via Ai supported IDE's or in terms of User facing Features like LLM
