Frontend Developer (ReactJS) (World of Tanks)

Job Overview

The World of Tanks (WoT) development team is looking for a Frontend Developer (ReactJS) with an understanding of backend approaches related to interfaces - or a strong desire to acquire that knowledge. If you excel at integrating backend with the user interface and have extensive experience in frontend development, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for developing new UI solutions, support and extend existent for WoT on PC, collaborating closely with UX designers, game designers, and gameplay developers, and maintaining communication with the leading UI development community across all WoT locations.

What will you do?

• Develop graphical interfaces for core and meta gameplay.

• Create prototypes for new UI solutions for versioned features and mechanics.

• Collaborate closely with the UX and gameplay departments to create exceptional UI solutions.

• Develop UI logic, including integration with core backend components.

• Apply design knowledge to create robust and scalable solutions.

• Maintain communication with the leading UI development community across all WoT development locations.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience in creating frontend solutions using HTML, SASS (animations understanding) and JavaScript (ReactJS, Redux/Mobx, TypeScript).

• Basic knowledge of backend approaches related to interfaces, or a strong desire to acquire this knowledge quickly.

• A passion for the gaming industry and a continuous desire to learn.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others through your expertise.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Knowledge of Python.

• Experience with ActionScript 3.0.

• Experience in the gaming industry and familiarity with related technologies.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional and external teams in the design and implementation of features.

• Experience in developing both frontend and comprehensive frontend + backend solutions.

Work mode

• Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
