Frontend Developer (React) - Core

📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

Today we are looking for a Front-End Developerto join the Core Team work on transversal projects, frameworks, best practices, web-site maintenance and evolutions, performance related topics with the Lead Dev, pair reviews and assisting the Devs across the Veepee product teams. It's an ideal team and mission for someone that is very tech curious, keeps up to date with the latest tech market trends.

🎯 TASKS:
• Work on challenging projects, to build the new platform with new technologies such as ReactJS, redux, react-router, Server Side Rendering, NodeJS, Webpack2, etc;
• Estimate development tasks, pointing out risks, required provisions and limitations in the process;
• Perform regular code reviews with the team;
• Participate in merge requests of other team mates;
• Work in an agile mindset with MVP approaches that fulfill future general requirements;
• Develop front end solutions that scale well in the future and that can be fitted in a micro front end Ecosystem;
• Handle the technical interviews with other developers willing to join VeepeeTech.

👉 MUST HAVE skills:
• 5+ years of experience in web development;
• You have strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of complex systems, enabling you to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• You are an expert in React, Next.js (or similar frameworks), and TypeScript, with experience across the full stack, including CI/CD, Design Systems with Tailwind, Nodejs)
• You are skilled in using testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• You have experience working with AI coding assistants and have set up MCPs, agents, and skills to enhance development workflows.
• You are fluent in English with strong communication skills, able to evangelize technical initiatives and onboard developers to new updates and best practices.
• You are proactive and dynamic person, motivated to grow within the tech team;
