Job Description
The Project
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (Project-based + Ongoing Ad-hoc Support) to lead the complete migration of our corporate website from Framer to a high-performance Next.js environment hosted on Vercel. It's a remote role with a "clone and improve" mission. The goal is to recreate the existing experience with 100% visual fidelity while significantly enhancing the underlying performance, SEO, and scalability. Once the initial migration is complete, you will remain our go-to developer for implementing new features and design updates provided via Figma or Framer.
Key Responsibilities
• Pixel-Perfect Migration: Rebuild the current live site from scratch in Next.js. Every margin, transition, and typographic detail must be identical to the original.
• Performance Engineering: Optimize the site for perfect Lighthouse scores (Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO).
• Vercel Deployment: Manage the deployment pipeline and ensure smooth hosting configuration on Vercel.
• Responsive Refinement: Ensure the experience is flawless and fluid across all breakpoints (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop).
• Ad-hoc Implementation: Post-launch, translate new Figma/Framer designs into clean, maintainable code.
Requirements:
• Next.js & Vercel Mastery: Extensive experience building and deploying production-grade sites with this stack.
• The "Eye for Detail": A portfolio that demonstrates an obsession with spacing, alignment, and typography.
• Technical SEO: Deep understanding of metadata, SSR/SSG, and schema markup to ensure the new site outperforms the current one.
• Speed Optimization: Proven ability to handle image optimization, lazy loading, and asset management for lightning-fast load times.
• Design Literacy: Ability to work directly from a live site reference or Figma files without needing hand-holding on UI specifics.
