Overview of Role

You will be highly proficient in building modern, interactive, and high-performance interfaces using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. This includes full ownership of the client-side code, ensuring responsiveness and quality with HTML5 and CSS3. A secondary, but necessary, function involves maintaining and eventually modernizing user-facing components built with legacy technologies like JSP and Struts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript,

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, focusing on performance and user experience.

• Implement robust and scalable back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and

• JPA/Hibernate, defining clear RESTful APIs for client consumption.

• Implement secure system integrations by enforcing authentication and authorization

• (JWT, OAuth2), applying API security best practices, and managing asynchronous communication via RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries for relational databases

• (Oracle, MySQL), managing the data layer via JPA/Hibernate.

• Utilize Git for version control and actively contribute to the CI/CD and DevOps pipelines by leveraging Docker for containerization and deployment automation.

• Use logging and monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring application reliability.

• Support and refactor existing legacy components(JSP and Struts) while proactively planning and executing strategies for their full modernization into the Microservices Architecture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in front end technology- React.js

• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).

• Understanding of DevOps pipelines .

• Understanding and experience of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2).

• Familiarity with API security best practices.

• Experience with logging, monitoring, and production support.

• Experience with agile development practices.

• Exposure to public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure including basic understanding of cloud-native deployments and services
