Restaurant Interlude is an intimate, Michelin-starred dining destination set within the breathtaking Leonardslee Gardens estate — a restored historic woodland and lakeside property offering an immersive fine-dining experience focused on seasonality, sustainability, and exceptional guest hospitality. Join a passionate team in one of the UK's most picturesque hospitality settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and look after guests throughout their entire dining journey
Support the team with professional, high-end food and beverage service
Maintain high standards of service and meticulous attention to detail
Assist with table preparation and restaurant setup/close-down
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service periods
Take pride in the presentation of the dining room and guest areas
What We’re Looking For:
Previous hospitality experience is required: We are looking for an experienced individual comfortable in a professional service environment
Friendly, positive, and professional attitude with a natural rapport with guests
Passion for hospitality and an understanding of fine-dining standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-end environment
Flexibility to work as per Rota (see Working Conditions below)

Working Conditions:
Working hours as per Rota: Primarily Thursday to Sunday
Focus on Friday coverage: Consistent availability for Friday lunch service is required
Shift frequency: At least 2 shifts per week (flexible based on rota needs)
Occasional relief/cover shifts as needed for holiday or absence cover
Part-time hours focused on key service days — ideal for experienced candidates seeking consistent weekend and select weekday involvement
