About the role:

We are looking for a coder to work on Yodeck’s frontend, a single-page web UI consuming our backend's REST API. One of our strongest selling points, our simple and easy to use UI constantly expands to include new features and make user experience even smoother.

Responsibilities

Things you will be regularly working on include:

• Evolving Yodeck’s web UI, writing JS code and using frameworks like BackboneJS, RequireJS, and Bootstrap.
• Adding features to our componentized UI, using REST APIs.
• Migrate current app to more modern frameworks like React JS.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks
• Experience working in a lean/agile development environment
• Good communication and organization
• Knowledge of client-side single-page applications using modern frameworks like React, Backbone
• Debugging and optimization skills
• Unit/integration testing experience to be considered as a plus
• Excellent command of English language
