iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our JavaScript-based web applications. Web Developer responsibilities include building our web apps from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. In addition, Web Developers are JavaScript engineers who contribute to our JavaScript SDK, which forms the backbone of our web applications.

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

• 3 to 5 years minimum experience in web programming
• Expert in modern OO JavaScript
• Expert in at least one modern JavaScript library (e.g. Angular, jQuery, etc.)
• Expert in modern HTML/CSS
• Detail-oriented and meticulous with visual details
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, ajax, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Expert in at least one server-side language such as Java, Ruby, or Python. Rails strongly preferred.
• Experience building JavaScript SDKs or open source projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• BS in computer science or a related field
