ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Live Payments is seeking a talented and experienced Front-end Developer to join our growing/ multi-national team. Reporting directly to our Vietnam based Team Leader, the Front-end Developer will work on developing and maintain our existing and future products.
Core duties include:
Develop, implement and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality, scalable front-end solutions.
Optimise application performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, including UI defects and client-side performance problems.
Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and services.
Analyse user interface issues, identify root causes and implement effective improvements.
Collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and recommend enhancements.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive front-end technical documentation, including component documentation and UI guidelines.
Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support team objectives.
Required skills:
At least 3 years of proven experience in front-end development within the information technology sector.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js and modern front-end frameworks such as Next.js.
Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and modern styling approaches (e.g. CSS-in-JS,Material UI).
Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management and front-end design patterns.
Good knowledge of Redux (and ideally Redux-Saga, Redux Toolkit). Strong expertise of SASS/CSS
Good working experience with Source/Version Control tools such as Git.
Experience with Unit test and Component test
Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross- browser compatibility.
Practical experience with development tools such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
A proactive and adaptable approach to contributing within dynamic team environments.
Nice-to-have skills:
Understanding of design systems and experience building reusable component libraries.
Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for front-end applications.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), including S3 and CloudFront.
