Division: Capstone Family Physicians, a department of Medical Network of Alaska

MNA Delivers leadership, support, and guidance to healthcare facilities of all sizes across multiple specialists with the primary goal of providing accessibility, value, and quality medical administrative support services.

What You’ll Do:

Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

Use computers for various applications, such as MS Suite, electronic health record.

Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.

Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as correspondence, or other material.

Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.

Maintain scheduling and calendars for executive staff

Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors.

Coordinate travel to and from various locations for staff

Other duties as assigned.

Able to work either in Anchorage or Wasilla  

What You Need For This Job:

High School Diploma or general education degree

Associate’s degree or equivalent

Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems

Must reside in or near Anchorage or Wasilla, Alaska.

Ability to read and analyze and interpret clinical data; financial performance metrics; and federal or private clinic quality metrics.

Ability to write routine reports, presentations, or graphs.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, superiors, and members of other departments.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.

Ability to calculate percentages and perform basic statistical calculations to include mean, median, mode, and hypothesis testing.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of EMR software and Microsoft Office Software with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, or feel and talk and hear. Ability to occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
