Job Description

We are looking for competent professionals to join our Freight Forwarding Operations team mainly in our, Seafreight Division but there will be opportunities for the Airfreight and Roadfreight Divisions as well.

You will be the one to coordinate with shipping lines, truckers, suppliers, customers, customs, warehouse and other involved parties to achieve the effective movement of cargo.

The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency & quality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure communications are efficient and the process is recorded
• Utilize logistics ERP & other tools to optimize procedures
• Manage incoming orders and coordinate with all involved parties to ensure equipment and space availability as per customers requirements
• Communicate with shippers, consignees and intermediates for operations details and changes
• Track the shipment to customer requirements and provide feedback
• Keep logs and records of the operation
• Ensure customer satisfaction & after sales

Requirements:
• Proven experience in Freight Forwarding industry.
• Experience in Sea freight operations
• Academic background in the field of Logistics and/or Shipping
• Sufficient knowledge of incoterms, shipping terminology & logistics
• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other divisions
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP software preferably ON LINE DATA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• English language fluency
