JOB SUMMARY:
As a Freight Audit and Pay Representative, you will be responsible for auditing and timely processing freight invoices. This position involves reviewing Intermodal invoices, verifying charges match contractual agreements, preventing overpayments and discrepancies. This role is specialized in transportation invoices.
This position is required to be on-site daily in the Franklin, TN office location.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify, and a background check is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Auditing freight bills against contractual terms and validating charges.
Resolving discrepancies with carriers and escalating unresolved issues to leadership.
Maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Documenting all resolutions and maintaining clear audit trails
Meet performance goals related to volume, margin, and service levels
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-year degree preferred in supply chain or logistics
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in transportation.
Experience with freight audit, or TMS systems is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage high volume transactions efficiently.
Ability to thrive in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
