Job Description
About eJam
eJam is a performance marketing company that builds and scales direct-to-consumer brands through data-driven creative. Video is at the center of everything we do—from scroll-stopping UGC to structured, conversion-focused ad creatives that scale across paid platforms.
We’re looking for experienced freelance videographers who are fluent in UGC-style content but are not limited by it.
If you can shoot authentic, native-feeling UGC and know how to light, frame, direct, and adapt to different creative formats—this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Creating
You’ll be producing performance-driven video content used in paid advertising across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
This includes:
• UGC-style videos (authentic, native, creator-led)
• Structured performance ads (hooks, problem/solution, proof, CTA)
• Product demos & lifestyle footage
• B-roll and supporting visual assets
• Multi-angle, multi-format shoots designed for iteration and testing
UGC is a core output, but we’re not looking for “UGC-only” creators—we want well-rounded videographers who can flex across styles as needed.
Responsibilities
• Shoot high-quality UGC-style videos that feel native to social platforms
• Execute shot lists efficiently while capturing usable variations
• Direct talent or self-perform on camera when required
• Capture clean audio, well-lit footage, and conversion-friendly framing
• Deliver organized, labeled raw footage ready for post-production
• Adapt shooting style based on brand, audience, and performance goals
• Follow creative briefs while bringing strong creative instincts to the table
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
This role is not entry-level.
Ideal candidates have:
• Proven experience shooting UGC for paid ads (not just organic content)
• Strong fundamentals in lighting, framing, composition, and audio
• Ability to shoot both polished and authentic content depending on the brief
• Experience working with scripts, hooks, and performance frameworks
• Fast, reliable turnaround and strong communication
• A portfolio that shows range, not just one look or format
Bonus points if you:
• Have worked with DTC or performance marketing teams
• Understand what makes ads convert (hooks, pacing, clarity)
• Can shoot multiple scripts efficiently in a single shoot day
• Are comfortable collaborating with strategists and creative leads
What This Is Not
• Not influencer posting or brand deals
• Not casual selfie videos with no structure
• Not a social media manager role
• Not for beginners learning videography fundamentals
Benefits:
• Consistent freelance work with high-performing brands
• Clear creative direction + room for creative input
• Performance-focused projects that sharpen your skills
• Work that actually scales and ships into paid media
• Opportunity for long-term collaboration
