Job Description
Who we are
We’re GoSpooky: a global social agency built for the speed of culture.
We create social-first work for brands that want to stay relevant, from TikToks that land on the For You Page to creator campaigns, community strategies, TikTok Shop, social affiliates and live shopping. If it shapes internet culture, we are probably already on it.
Our teams combine strategy, creativity, community, commerce, gaming and data to turn cultural moments into brand impact. As official partners of Instagram and Snapchat, and partners and social affiliates of TikTok Shop, we work with brands such as KLM, Samsung, JBL, HEMA, Prime Video NL, AXE, Etos, Vodafone, Zeeman and Picnic.
We’re driven by bold ambition, endless creativity and authentic people. People who challenge the obvious, move with culture and create work that feels real, relevant and impossible to ignore.
We’re always looking for people who understand the internet, bring fresh perspectives and are excited to shape what social can become next. If you’re ready to move fast, think big and make an impact, you’ll fit right in.
The Role
As a Freelance Mid Data & Insights Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping GoSpooky turn social data into meaningful business impact. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable reporting infrastructures, delivering actionable insights and ensuring the quality and accuracy of data across multiple client accounts.
You’ll work closely with teams across Client Services, Community Management and Project Management to deliver reporting that goes beyond performance metrics and uncovers the “why” behind the results. From automating dashboards to leading reporting processes and building social intelligence frameworks, you’ll help shape how we use data to drive smarter creative and strategic decisions.
This role reports to the Data and Insights Lead and works closely with stakeholders across Creative Strategist, Community Manager and Project Manager teams.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from source platforms into BigQuery/GCP and Looker Studio dashboards
Own and optimise reporting processes for WBRs, MBRs and QBRs across multiple client accounts
Develop automated dashboards that serve as the single source of truth for internal and external stakeholders
Manage social intelligence and listening workflows using tools like Brandwatch, Measure Studio, CreatorIQ and TikTok Shop Product Analysis
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation checks and resolving discrepancies before reports are delivered
Translate performance data into actionable insights by identifying trends, content outliers, audience behaviour and growth opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with CS, CM and PM teams to deliver reporting projects accurately and on time
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
What we’re looking for
2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting or insights within a social media, marketing or agency environment
Experience working with BigQuery and Looker Studio
Strong understanding of social media performance metrics, especially across TikTok and Meta platforms
Experience creating reporting decks and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong analytical thinking skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
Prior experience working in a social first agency.
You are fluent in English and Dutch language skills are a plus
