McDonald’s is a global QSR chain operating almost 40K restaurants. In the UK & Ireland we employ over 135,000 employees and operate over 1,400 restaurants. We’ve operated in the UK & Ireland since 1974 and began franchising in 1986; our 190+ franchisees operate over 85% of our restaurants.

We’re always looking for hands-on, ambitious people who are ready to make a long-term commitment to our business. As a franchisee, you’ll need to make a significant up-front financial investment, which means having at least £300,000 in unencumbered funds. You’ll also be ready to lead from the front and work within our framework to give yourself the greatest chance of success.
