Primary Responsibilities
Read and comprehend blueprints and shop drawings.
Spearhead a team of field employees and ensure their work is performed with a high level of efficiency.
Ability to perform tasks including steel stud framing, drywall, and acoustic ceilings.
Schedule project workforce needs by working in tandem with Project Manager and report to General Contractor.
Lead safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections with the team on a regular basis.
Champion daily administration such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and correspondence with the project team.
Ensure that quality standards are being met and assist in managing the project Quality Control program and tracking deficiencies.
Arrange deliveries and submit material request.
Complete daily reports in various apps such as Plexxis and Salus.
Perform Time and Materials work using EWA's in the Site Supervisor app.
Document all trade damages using the PlanGrid system.
Manage the productivity and timely completion of jobs while ensuring all safety rules and regulations are being followed.
Enforce all General Contractor and RWC safety guidelines and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial drywall and framing.
Proven architectural and/or construction trade experience.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising crews, assigning work, and maintaining productivity.
Strong working knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and industry best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on, team-oriented leadership style.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively in the field.
Ability to safely work at heights and enforce site safety standards.
