What You'll Be Doing:

Supervise a day-to-day plant operation and manufacture of timber wall frames and roof trusses to meet production targets and customer requirements.

Ensures all activities within production support quality, safety, service and output targets.

Identifies production bottlenecks and recommends/implements new procedures for improvement.

Maintain strong communication with frame and truss yardman to ensure steady flow of inward raw material and outward finished product.

Liaise with the manager to ensure adequate team members to meet production timetables.

Recommend ways to minimise expenditure and waste.

What You'll Bring:

Previous experience in managing and building teams of people in a production role highly desirable.

Knowledge and familiarity of frame and truss manufacturing equipment essential. Timber frame and Truss experience essential.

Well-developed communication and people management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and understanding of WHS legislation.

The ability to work unsupervised. Certificate III in Timber Truss and Frame Manufacture highly desirable.

Excellent understanding of internal control procedures, time management and workload efficiency techniques.

Knowledge of Office365 and spreadsheet software valued.
