Substance is looking for a talented Fractional Website Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. In this flexible role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and functional websites that align with our clients' branding and business goals. This position allows for a unique opportunity to work with multiple projects and clients, offering your expertise in both design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs, goals, and branding requirements.
• Design aesthetically pleasing website layouts using best practices in UI/UX design.
• Develop responsive and mobile-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Implement content management systems (CMS) as needed, such as WordPress or Shopify, to empower clients to manage their website content.
• Conduct thorough testing across different browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites, including updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in website design and development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma.
• Familiarity with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
• Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
