Job Description
Fractional Senior Full Stack Engineer (Stabilization / AI-Generated Code)
Location: Remote (LATAM & Eastern Europe)
Type: Contract / Fractional (10–40 hrs/week)
Overview
We’re hiring a senior, hands-on engineer to support multiple early-stage products that need stabilization.
Most projects were built quickly by non-technical founders using AI tools. As a result, codebases are often incomplete, inconsistent, or fragile.
This role is focused on reviewing, fixing, and stabilizing existing systems not just building new features.
What You’ll Do
• Review and assess existing codebases (often AI-generated or founder-built)
• Identify bugs, structural issues, and technical risks
• Refactor and stabilize applications for production use
• Improve performance, structure, and maintainability
• Fill gaps in core functionality (auth, payments, backend logic)
• Implement lightweight QA / testing where needed
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and project leads
• Work across multiple projects as priorities shift
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of full stack experience
• Strong experience working in messy / inherited codebases
• Comfortable operating without full documentation
• Proven ability to take products from MVP → stable product
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset (not theoretical)
• Strong communication and team collaboration
• Comfortable in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments
Tech Stack (Flexible)
• Python (FastAPI, Django) - preferred
• Node.js / TypeScript
• React / Next.js
• Firebase, Supabase, or similar
• APIs & modern web architectures
Flexibility > specialization
Engagement Model
• Fractional, hourly
• 10–40 hrs/week depending on project load
• Initial engagements ~4 weeks
• Ongoing work across multiple client projects
