We are seeking a proficient FPGA Design Engineer who possesses practical experience in RTL design, simulation, and hardware validation. This position entails creating FPGA-based solutions for test systems and embedded platforms, encompassing high-speed interfaces and real-time data processing.
Requirements:
Key Skills Required:
• Extensive experience in FPGA design utilizing Verilog and VHDL
• Solid grasp of digital design principles including timing, clock domains, and state machines
• Proficiency with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or comparable software
• Practical expertise in:
• RTL design, simulation, and synthesis processes
• Performing timing analysis and achieving timing closure
• Creating testbenches and conducting functional verification
• Experience working with communication interfaces including:
• Essential: SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet
• Preferred basic knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as LVDS, DDR, and SERDES
• PCIe experience considered an advantage
• Familiarity with:
• ADC/DAC interfacing and systems for data acquisition
• Memory interfaces, specifically DDR3 and DDR4 basics
• Clocking components including PLL, MMCM, and clock domain crossing techniques
• Knowledge of embedded processors such as MicroBlaze, Nios, or ARM-based SoC FPGAs
• Skilled in using hardware debugging instruments like ILA/SignalTap, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design and implement FPGA RTL for both test and embedded systems
• Carry out simulation, synthesis, and ensure timing closure
• Create and run testbenches to verify functional correctness
• Troubleshoot and validate FPGA designs on hardware platforms
• Work collaboratively with hardware, PCB, and GUI development teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, testing outcomes, and modifications
Qualification:
• B.E. / B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
