The Role
As an FP&A Analyst, you will work directly with the FP&A Specialist to build the company’s financial reporting, modeling, and analytics infrastructure from the ground up.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and AI, designed for someone who learns fast, thinks in systems, and wants to be close to strategic decision-making.
Your mission:
Transform how Birdman generates financial insights, from monthly reporting to board-level materials combining rigorous analysis with AI tools.
Impact & Ownership
• Build and improve the monthly FP&A reporting process
• Define and strengthen unit economics (LTV, CAC, contribution margin)
• Support financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Contribute to board materials and investor reporting
• Help establish the company’s financial source of truth
• Integrate AI tools to automate and scale financial analysis
Responsibilities
• Support the development of monthly FP&A reports and variance analysis
• Analyze key drivers such as pricing, product mix, FX, and COGS
• Build and maintain financial models (forecasting, scenarios, sensitivity)
• Develop profitability analysis by channel, product, and customer
• Support preparation of board decks and investor materials
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure data integrity across systems
• Build automated dashboards and reporting tools
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and analytical depth
Requirements:
Experience
• 0 - 3 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related fields
• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or similar
Skills
• Advanced English (C1 or above)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query)
• Solid understanding of financial statements and modeling fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources
AI & Mindset
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
• Curiosity to integrate AI into daily workflows
• Systems thinking and ability to structure ambiguous problems
