FP&A Analyst (Data & Analytics Focus) - Guadalajara, Mexico | Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst with strong data analytics capabilities to support financial planning and drive data-informed decision-making. This role is primarily focused on FP&A responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, while leveraging data tools and analytics to enhance reporting, improve efficiency, and generate business insights.

The ideal candidate has a solid finance background and is comfortable working with large datasets, building dashboards, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze financial performance, variances, and key business drivers
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Support month-end close analysis and performance reporting

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from ERP systems and other sources
• Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial and operational reports
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve business performance

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams
• Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives
• Act as a key contributor in data-driven decision-making processes

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or Financial Analysis roles
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Strong understanding of financial statements and business metrics

Nice to Have
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data tools
• Experience in multinational or US-based companies
• Exposure to reporting automation or process improvement initiatives
