Role Overview

As the Founding Sales Representative for Indonesia, you will be responsible for establishing and driving the early sales motion in the market. This is a foundational, entrepreneurial role where you will work closely with regional leadership to validate the go to market strategy, secure early customers, and build the operational foundation for our local team. You will play a key role in launching a new market from the ground up, with a clear path to leadership as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Early Revenue: Conduct 1:1 and group product demos, manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closing, and convert inbound leads while developing outbound opportunities.
• Build the Market (0→1): Help validate the sales playbook for Indonesia by experimenting with customer segments, messaging, and pricing strategies. Provide critical insights to refine product positioning in the local market.
• Establish Systems & Processes: Create initial sales SOPs, CRM processes, and sales playbooks. Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and product teams to improve the onboarding process and overall customer journey.
• Localization & Market Insights: Leverage local expertise to tailor sales messaging, materials, and go to market strategies. Provide actionable insights on local customer behavior, preferred communication channels (e.g., messaging apps), and buyer expectations.
• Shape the Future Team: Contribute to building the foundation of the Indonesia sales team. Top performers will have the opportunity to transition into leadership roles as the team scales.


Requirements:
Must Have

• 3–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS, tech sales, or solutions selling.
• Proven experience running product demos and leading consultative sales conversations.
• Strong understanding of SMB customers or digital business landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous, 0→1 environment.
• Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience selling CRM, marketing automation, SaaS, or messaging solutions.
• Previous experience in startup environments or launching new markets.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp, conversational commerce, or digital marketing ecosystems.
