We are looking for a Founding Product & Operations Lead to build and scale a tech-enabled home gardening services platform from the ground up. This is a zero-to-one leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and enjoys blending product thinking with operational excellence. You will work closely with the founder to shape the MVP, define service standards, and create a scalable operating model that delivers exceptional customer experiences. This role demands hands-on execution, strong problem-solving ability, and a passion for building structured systems in service-led businesses. From launching the initial product to refining customer journeys and managing field operations, you will play a critical role in turning vision into execution.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Build and execute the MVP using no-code tools, freelancers, or development teams as required.
• Define and standardize SOPs for home gardening services to ensure consistency and quality.
• Own service delivery metrics, operational performance, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
• Hire, train, and manage the initial operations team and vendor partners, including gardeners.
• Establish user feedback loops to continuously refine and improve the service experience.
• Partner with the founder to shape product roadmap, pricing strategy, and customer acquisition plans.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design and optimize acquisition funnels.
• Drive operational scalability as new neighborhoods or cities are added.
• Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 4–6 years of experience in startup operations, product-led services, or hyperlocal platforms.
• Demonstrated success launching new verticals, markets, or city operations.
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to move from strategy to on-ground implementation.
• High ownership and comfort working in ambiguity within early-stage environments.
• Deep empathy for customer pain points in service businesses and ability to design solutions accordingly.
• Data-driven decision-making skills with a focus on operational metrics and service quality.
• Strong leadership capabilities to build and motivate field teams and vendor networks.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in horticulture or gardening (preferred but not mandatory).
