Founding Frontend Engineer - AI Aspire

We’re looking for a Founding Frontend Engineer who’s excited to turn cutting-edge AI ideas into seamless, beautiful user experiences. You’ll take the lead in building fast, intuitive, and scalable interfaces that power our developer tools and AI products — bringing ideas from prototype to production. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, design, and engineering, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to craft products that are as powerful as they are delightful to use.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mountain View, California.

Here’s what you’ll do::
• Own the frontend experience of our platform — architecting, building, and shipping responsive, high-performance interfaces in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
• Translate complex user needs and product requirements into elegant, maintainable, and scalable frontend solutions.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services — and, where possible, contribute to backend logic in JavaScript/Node.js.
• Rapidly prototype new features and experiments, leveraging AI-assisted coding workflows to accelerate iteration.
• Work on interfaces that connect directly with LLMs, AI agents, and other frontier models, building intuitive user experiences around powerful AI capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure applications run smoothly at scale.

Here are the skills you should have::
• 4+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and state management patterns.
• Experience integrating APIs and working collaboratively with backend teams.
• Familiarity with AI models, LLMs, or AI agents — and a curiosity to keep exploring the latest developments in GenAI.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus Points::
• Experience contributing to backend services (Node.js, Express, or similar).
• Built developer-focused products or tools, especially in the AI or infrastructure space.
• Worked on AI-driven interfaces or products that interact with foundation models.
• Experience building 0→1 products or working in early-stage startup environments.
• Interest in education, developer experience, or enabling others to succeed with AI.
