Your mission at Phlair

As a Founders Associate, you work across whatever the company needs most — commercial traction, strategic analysis, customer research, or special projects. You operate with high autonomy and are expected to bring structure to ambiguity. You work closely with the commercial team, CEO, and technical teams to help turn technology progress into real market traction.

This role is ideal if you want to understand how deep-tech climate companies sell, position themselves, and navigate regulation-driven markets.

What You’ll Work On

• Drive go-to-market and business development efforts, from lead research to early customer conversations.

• Structure and maintain CRM data, sales funnels, and market intelligence, including building AI-enabled workflows and automations using tools like n8n.

• Track and analyze climate policy, regulation, and market signals that influence buyer behavior and demand for CDR.

• Support hiring efforts and internal team initiatives, from sourcing and screening candidates to helping shape culture and onboarding as the team grows.

• Tackle different operational topics.

You’ll do real work that matters.

What You Bring

• Graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, engineering, natural sciences, economics, or a related field.

• Prior internship experience in startups, consulting, policy research, sales, or venture is a plus, but not required.

• Strong interest in climate tech, carbon removal, energy, or industrial decarbonization.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to structure information and communicate clearly in writing and presentations.

• High ownership mentality, reliability, and comfort working in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.

• Onsite & Collaborative: Our offices in Ismaning, Germany, house our pilot plant, where we work physically on our product every day. The team collaborates closely in the office, five days a week.
