Smoky Mountain Children’s Home is a faith-based non-profit that has spent over 100 years dedicated to supporting and caring for at-risk youth. We believe our quality of care is only as good as our people. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Foster Home Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our foster home network remains compliant with state regulations and that our records are meticulously maintained to support the children and families we serve.
Positon Overview
As the Foster Home Compliance Coordinator, you will manage the integrity of our foster home documentation and databases.
You will act as a vital bridge between our agency and the State of Tennessee Compliance directors, ensuring all protocols are met and deadlines are honored.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all Foster Home documentation and ensure both the database and physical files are current and fully compliant.
State Liaison: Work directly with the State of Tennessee Compliance directors to send, verify, and track all necessary Foster Home documentation.
Policy Oversight: Stay ahead of new policies affecting compliance and implement necessary changes to internal procedures.
Supervision: Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Foster Care Transporters and the Foster Care Training Specialist.
Continuous Improvement: Attend meetings and polycoms to ensure files and databases strictly follow evolving protocols and procedures.
Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foster Care Director.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Adaptability: Must be flexible and capable of managing a variety of assignments related to compliance protocol.
Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to accuracy and meeting state-mandated deadlines.
Physical & Environmental Demands
Daily Activity: Typically involves 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking.
Work Setting: Approximately 80% of the work is conducted indoors, with 20% outdoors.
Salary & Schedule
Salary: $41,200.00 - $46,200.00 per year (commensurate with education level), plus benefits.
40 Hours per week - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Foster Care Director.
