We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and dedicated Foster Care Case Manager to serve as a cornerstone of support for youth in Cookeville, TN and the surrounding area.

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

Advocacy: Represent the best interests of youth at court hearings, school meetings, and child/family team meetings.

Mentorship: Provide weekly direct casework services, building relationships with the youth on your caseload.

Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans and conduct intake studies to ensure every child receives the right level of care.

Coordination: Arrange monthly family visits, monitor educational progress and school attendance, and coordinate medical and therapeutic services.

Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date case records and prepare monthly progress reports for families and referring agencies.

What You Bring

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology) or Education is required.*

Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate with a dedicated team of advocates and accept professional supervision.

Integrity: Must pass an extensive background check and drug screen.

Resilience: Ability to handle the physical requirements of the role (standing, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs) and the emotional weight of child welfare.

Citizenship: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship not available).

Residence in or near Cookeville, TN

Salary & Schedule

Salary: $31,700 – $36,200 per year (commensurate with education level).

Flexibility: While some appointments (like court) are fixed, you have the autonomy to manage your daily calendar to best serve your youth.
